நீதிமன்றத்தில் அரசு தரப்பில் 6 மணிவரை தீபம் ஏற்றுவதாகக் கூறி வந்தனர். அதனால் அங்கு அவ்வளவு கூட்டம் சேர்ந்தது. நீதிமன்றத்தில் அங்கு தீபம் ஏற்ற முடியாது என்று முன்பே தெளிவாகச் சொல்லியிருந்தால் ஏன் அங்கு கூட்டம் கூடி இப்படியாக பதற்றமான சூழல் ஏற்படப்போகிறது. எப்போதும் பின்பற்றப்பட்டுவரும் பாரம்பரியமான முறையை மாற்ற வேண்டிய அவசியம் கிடையாது”என்று பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
