The Trinamool Congress, led by Mamata Banerjee, has criticized the disgruntled MPs who have announced that they will join the Nationalist Citizens Party, calling them traitors who are following the path shown by the BJP.

BJP view: Regarding this, West Bengal BJP spokesperson Sayantan Basu said, “The Trinamool Congress leadership blames others without fixing the problems within its own party. They should introspect. If dissatisfied MPs join another party and support the bills brought by the government in Parliament, that would be a good thing,” he said.
