இருபதுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கட்சிகள் மற்றும் அமைப்புகள்… என்னென்ன தொகுதிகள் என்பதுகூட விவாதப் பொருளாக மாறும் அபாயம் உள்ளது.
ஆனாலும் ஓட்டுச் சிதறல் தவிர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கிறிஸ்தவ இஸ்லாமிய ஓட்டு வங்கி மடைமாறும் என்கிற வாதம் தகர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதுவே அரசியல் சாணக்கியத்தனம். வெற்றிக்கான வாக்கு வித்தியாசம் அதிகமாக இருக்கும் தொகுதிகளில் திமுக கூட்டணியின் வெற்றி உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அதே நேரத்தில் அது மிகவும் குறைவாக இருக்கும் இடங்களில் இந்த மெகா கூட்டணி வெற்றி வாய்ப்பைத் தரும் என்று ஸ்டாலின் நம்புகிறார்.
வெற்றி வித்தியாசம் ஆயிரம் ஓட்டுகளுக்குக் குறைவாக சுமார் 20 தொகுதிகளில் நிலவரம் உள்ளது.
ஐயாயிரம் வாக்குகளுக்கு குறைவாக சுமார் 40 தொகுதிகள் நிர்ணயம் ஆகிறது. அங்கு இந்த மெகா கூட்டணி கை கொடுக்கும் என்பது ஸ்டாலின் நம்பிக்கை.
காங்கிரஸுக்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள தொகுதி எண்ணிக்கை அதிகம்தான். ஆனால் அவர்களது பாரம்பர்ய ஓட்டு பல தொகுதிகளில் 3,000 வரை உள்ளது.
எனவே அதையும் கணக்கில் எடுத்துள்ளார் ஸ்டாலின். தமிழ்நாடு வரலாற்றில் இத்தனை கட்சிகள் கொண்ட கூட்டணி அமைப்பது இதுவே முதன்முறை.
