Thousands of young people participated in a protest organized by members of the Cockroach People’s Party in Pune, Maharashtra.
In protest against the Chief Justice of India criticizing young people as cockroaches, the social media page called the Cockroach People’s Party, started by Abhijith Thipke, has grown into a massive movement.
Under the leadership of Abhijith Thipke, the leader of this movement, a protest held on June 6 in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar area with the participation of thousands of young people demanded that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign, taking responsibility for the NEET question paper leak.
In this context, members of the Cockroach People’s Party held a protest today (June 11) at Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune, condemning the irregularities taking place in the NEET and CBSE examinations.
Abhijit Thipke and Ladakh-based social activist Sonam Wangchuk took part in and led this protest, which was attended by thousands of students and parents.
Following this, the protesters demanded that Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign as well. It has been stated that the protest will continue until Minister Dharmendra Pradhan steps down.
Furthermore, Abhijit Dipke has announced that the Cockroach People's Party will stage protests in various cities, including Bengaluru, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Amritsar, against irregularities in education and unemployment.
