Today’s youth should take as their guide the thoughts and patriotism of leaders such as Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar, Immanuel Sekaran, Tiruppur Kumaran, and V. O. Even a great national poet like Mahakavi Subramania Bharati is not properly honored by some people because of his caste background. An attitude that judges the contributions of great individuals on the basis of narrow identities such as caste will not help society progress. Their greatness should be celebrated on the basis of the service they rendered to the nation and to humanity. Thus he spoke.
