Iran said it is prepared to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and resume talks on its nuclear program within seven days if the United States lifts its naval blockade, removes sanctions on oil, and adheres to a ceasefire that includes areas such as Lebanon.
However, the Donald Trump administration has rejected this peace agreement proposal from Iran. Donald Trump has said that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon, that there is no confidence Iran will meet America’s demands, and that there is a possibility of renewed bombing operations. He also posted on his social media platform an image of a map circling the Strait of Hormuz and labeling it “Trump Strait.”
As a result, the United States is expected to launch another attack on Iran after the midterm elections scheduled for November in the U.S. Therefore, war tensions have once again gripped the Middle East.
