Stalin, the former Chief Minister and DMK leader, has said that the DMK women’s wing will stage a protest tomorrow against the administrative mismanagement of the TVK government.
In this regard, on his X page, he posted a video saying, ``The clueless T.V.K. government, with neither its own wisdom nor the wisdom to speak, has ruined law and order! Tomorrow’s protest by the women’s wing is a wake-up call for the T.V.K. government that is running amok! Let us try to wake up the Chief Minister and the administration that is sleeping on the job! Let us teach a lesson to a government that does not know how to govern!'' In the video, he says, ``It is my habit to first ask whether everyone is well and then speak. But looking at the current situation in Tamil Nadu, if I ask that now, the situation today is such that you would ask, ‘Are you mocking us?’
Condemning the deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu, the unsafe conditions for women and children, and the unprecedented rise in prices, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Women’s Wing will hold a protest demonstration on Saturday, October 31, at all district headquarters across Tamil Nadu.
In connection with that, I would like to share a few thoughts with you. Believing that the person who played the hero in a film would be the same in real life, the mistake made by several lakh people is now affecting the entire public.
Before the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) came to power, what did the party’s leader and today’s Chief Minister, Mr. Vijay, speak about at all public meetings? He came to power by repeatedly saying only that law and order in Tamil Nadu was poor, that women and children were not safe, and that crimes were increasing because of drugs.
Just recall the speeches he made. Under the rule of the one who spoke punch dialogues loudly, what is the situation today? Instead of focusing on serious issues, this government seems intent only on arresting those who criticize it on social media; it pays no attention at all to eradicating drugs or ensuring women’s safety.

Not even a single child who has been missing for ten days has been found. With the police force in his hands, he does not know how to restore law and order, and as a Chief Minister himself, he has become a question mark. Brutal murders in broad daylight on major roads, sexual assaults, and killing elderly people who are alone at home and looting their jewelry have become commonplace. Young girls continue to go missing.
The criminals have no fear at all of this government. They celebrate this as their own regime. Even in the capital city of Chennai, serial murders are taking place in highly important areas like Mylapore, Adyar, and Taramani. Criminals who come out on bail are chased and hacked to death with sickles on the very way back after signing at the police station;
they are being cut down right inside the court premises. Double murders are being carried out in many districts. After committing murder, they post “reels” on Instagram. Prisoners are escaping from Puzhal prison.

Seventeen people escaped leisurely through the main gate in a single night from the Theni district prison. Criminals are committing murders in the middle of the road and escaping in autos and bikes without the slightest panic. It is not even known whether the Chief Minister is seeing all these scenes or not. There is doubt as to whether these reports are reaching his ears at all. Because his actions seem as though nothing is happening in Tamil Nadu.
All parties are issuing statements; expressing condemnation; holding protests. But there is no response from the Chief Minister.
Even now, he remains unreachable to anyone, as if he were going and sitting for hours in a “caravan” during a film shoot. Isn’t the Chief Minister responsible for the police department? Shouldn’t he answer? Shouldn’t he hold review meetings with officials and issue the necessary orders?
But none of this happens. Only a few ministers respond for all the departments; and those responses are also extremely irresponsible. Even as it is about to be six months since coming to power, their only answer to everything is still “DMK... DMK...”

What is most worrying here is that in more than half of the criminal incidents, it is members of the TVK party who are involved. To maintain law and order, the Chief Minister does not need to go anywhere else; if he simply controls those in his own party, crimes will decrease significantly.
That is, women do not need to be protected by TVK; rather, women now need to be protected from TVK. Generally, every party may have a few weeds. But TVK is a party where all the weeds seem to have gathered together.
'Meth Bhoopalan' was arrested a few days ago by the Central Government's 'DRI' (DRI) agency. His job is to turn Tamil Nadu into a drug production hub and supply it all over the world. He is a TVK functionary. But if this news is published, a TVK union secretary threatens journalists over the phone, saying they will be killed. Is this clean politics?
Was the money earned by TVK functionary Meth Bhoopalan through drug production used for TVK's election expenses in Nagapattinam district and other districts as well? Is that why they are threatening journalists? Shouldn't all this be subjected to a proper investigation?

Not only has law and order deteriorated, but prices have also risen to an unprecedented level, severely affecting the public. At ration shops, they claim to provide Ponni rice, but instead they polish ration rice and cheat people. At fair-price shops, they advertise cheap onions for sale; but when people go to the shop, there is no onion stock available.
People's everyday lives have been affected by this rise in prices. The time when poor people longed to see whether they could buy gold is gone; today, the situation has become one where they long to see whether they can at least buy rice.
During the DMK regime, we kept Tamil Nadu as the state with the lowest inflation in India. But the current rulers have no administrative ability in any sector. What is happening in Tamil Nadu today is the rule of a group that does not even know what administration means. This TVK government is an incompetent government that has neither its own judgment nor the ability to listen to advice. They are getting electricity at the highest price of Rs. 37, a rate no other state in India has paid. The reason for this is the complete lack of planning and long-term vision.

Now, to divert people’s attention from that, they deliberately announced that they would buy electricity for 41 rupees, and then withdrew it and staged a drama. Just as drawing a bigger line next to a large line makes the earlier line look smaller, they have staged this 41-rupee drama solely to make the 37-rupee electricity purchase look lower.
If we talk about issues like these that affect the people, a good government should try to fix them. But do you know what they do? They use fake accounts in their information technology wing (IT Wing) to carry out a 'toolkit' strategy.
Whenever any party speaks about people’s issues, they think it is enough to post comments abusing them under those posts. The Chief Minister says, "There is a contest only between two people"... Do you know between which two there is really a contest?
Between power cuts and knife attacks!
Between electricity tariff hikes and grocery price hikes!
Between rising murders and rising prices!
This is the reality in Tamil Nadu today. “I will be your brother, your uncle, your younger uncle, your elder uncle,” he said in layered rhetoric... First let him be the Chief Minister! If he had done his job properly, why would Tamil Nadu be sliding backward in every sector?
Has this TVK government performed better than the previous Dravidian model government in any one sector? In everything, one can keep saying decline, deterioration, setback.
This protest, to be held by the DMK on the 31st, is organized precisely against these things. This is a warning bell for this government! The Chief Minister should take this as a wake-up call and act accordingly.
We are here for the people; the people also trust us. Therefore, my wishes for the huge success of our protest demonstration to be held on October 31, both to teach this government, which does not know how to govern, a lesson and to shake up the Chief Minister and this sleepy administration,” he said.
