Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the dream of some people to create chaos in the country will never come true.
The Prime Minister made this remark while criticizing Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party.
Mocking Rahul, he said, “Even after trying as many times as the number of rockets launched from Sriharikota in a year, the Congress has not been able to project its leader (Rahul).”
The INDIA alliance of opposition parties, including the Congress, has been staging continuous protests, alleging electoral malpractice through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voters’ list and demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has also launched a separate protest. In such a situation, the Prime Minister’s remarks have drawn attention.
Prime Minister Modi participated in an international conference organized by a private English news media outlet in Delhi. Speaking there, he said:
Congress questions the nation’s achievements in order to save a family from the stain of failure. Genuine people’s movements aimed at improving the administrative system are being ruined by the Congress party. Lacking the ability to think independently, Congress has become a “political parasite” under the dominance of Naxal ideologues.
Harm to genuine critics: Congress’s approach is to suppress the voices of sincere critics who wish for the nation’s welfare and democracy. At a time when the world is searching for a new order, some dream of creating disorder in the country. Their dream will never come true.
In the confusing present world, it is essential for India’s image to shine brightly. But some are intent on tarnishing the country’s reputation, traveling abroad to bring disgrace upon the nation, and seeking the intervention of foreign powers.
A burden on the Congress family: It is not known how much longer the Congress will continue to hold the nation’s interests hostage in order to repeatedly reintroduce its “failed product” (referring to Rahul). Truly, one family within the Congress has become a burden on its own party. Even the party’s senior leaders have privately admitted this.
Because Congress is trying to project only one person in Parliament, many young MPs from the opposition are being denied a chance to speak. He said this is the biggest injustice being done to young MPs.
News in brief...
‘Trade Weaponized’
‘For many years, trade connected nations; technology reduced distances; sea routes bound economies together. Culture and transport brought societies closer. But these connections are now facing new tensions.
Trade is being used as a weapon. Technology has become a new arena for competition and conflict. Sea routes have emerged as the center of geopolitical tensions.
As the global order is changing, reforms in international multilateral institutions are essential so they can effectively address contemporary challenges. The decision-making process must also change in line with global realities. In all circumstances, cooperation between countries must be strengthened,” said Prime Minister Modi.
