"Tamil Nadu’s law and order is, day by day, moving toward a very, very dangerous stage. The Chief Minister, who should be focusing on protecting people’s lives, is concentrating entirely on saving his own chair. As the price for that, innocent human lives are being sacrificed," DMK leader Stalin has criticized.
In an X post he released regarding this, he said, "Under the T.V.K. regime, knife attacks will rise to a level surpassing power cuts. Law and order has deteriorated, and Tamil Nadu is trapped in a bloody mess. The shocking reports that emerged in the past 24 hours stand as proof that Tamil Nadu has been pushed into a situation where criminals live boldly and the public lives in fear.
In Chennai’s Mylapore, 19-year-old youth Sathyaseelan has been hacked to death.

A father who filed a complaint at the police station against the man who harassed his 17-year-old daughter in Tiruttani has been brutally murdered right in front of his house. This murder happened because the police were negligent and failed to take action even after the complaint was filed.
In Salem, an elderly woman named Janabai, who was alone at home, was strangled to death in broad daylight. The killers stole her jewelry and fled.
In Dindigul district, Veerabathiran was hacked to death by unidentified men in front of his wife just as he was returning after signing bail at the Sanarpatti police station.
A young man was stripped and murdered while intoxicated near Samayanallur in Madurai district.
Shyam Sundararajan, who came on a bike near a TASMAC shop in Cholavandan, was hacked to death.
An attempt was made to attack students with a knife right at Ennore railway station.
Crime incidents are rampant in every direction—north, south, west, and even in the capital. Tamil Nadu has been drenched in blood, with no distinction between broad daylight and midnight. People are suffering, with no safety at home and no safety outside.

Is patrol duty being carried out by the police or not?
Will the women commandos show the same enthusiasm for ensuring women’s safety as they do for making reels, or won’t they?
When will the anarchy end, where even those who file complaints at police stations and report incidents end up being murdered without any action being taken?
Are criminals being monitored or not? Doesn’t the murder incident in Dindigul district show that monitoring has been absent?
The law and order situation in Tamil Nadu is moving day by day toward an extremely dangerous stage. The Chief Minister, who should be focusing on protecting people’s lives, is entirely focused on protecting his own chair. As the price for that, innocent human lives are being sacrificed.
The Chief Minister, who is responsible for the police department, must understand the seriousness of the situation. The time for making excuses and escaping responsibility is over. “Take - Action” #ShootingMode-இல் இருந்து விடுபட்டு, Please Take Action CM Sir!" he posted.
