The S.I.R. issue, held under the leadership of Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, has become a major topic of debate across the country. In this situation, in a statement issued by Congress leader Manickam Tagore, he said, ``People will not accept it if you first talk about having prevented the deletion of voters in Tamil Nadu, and now say that the reason for the DMK's defeat is the deletion of voters. Even now, DMK spokespersons are only speaking about opposing the S.I.R.; DMK MPs are not participating in the protest demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.

The leaders of the left-wing parties in Tamil Nadu, along with VCK and MDMK, took part in the protest in Delhi and were arrested. But not even one MP from the DMK participated. What is the reason for this? The fear that taking part in the protest against S.I.R. would mean antagonizing the BJP is the reason for this," he had noted.
In response, on the DMK's official page, ``The Congress leader who is shouting at the party that is not in the alliance should be silenced! Otherwise, he will be silenced!
Even before the legislative assembly general election, through his arrogant remarks, T.V.K. stooge Manickam Tagore, who disrupted the strong anti-BJP alliance in Tamil Nadu, has once again displayed his loose tongue.
Taking the speech delivered at the party’s booth agents meeting—meant to recognize the work carried out by the party workers in the field and to encourage them—he is defending the Election Commission’s biased and dishonest SIR exercise. Does the Congress party’s national leadership accept this? Is this their position on SIR?
In Tamil Nadu, DMK members worked as hard as they could to ensure that people’s voting rights were not taken away by SIR. They helped people fill out and submit the forms. However, it is a well-known fact that many names were left out of both the draft electoral roll and later the final electoral roll. This is the very well-known truth that this TVK foot-stomping Manikkam is trying to hide.
In fact, there is another reason, along with S.I.R., for the DMK’s defeat. That cannot be denied. While remaining part of the secular progressive alliance led by the DMK, the remarks made every day about the DMK by certain parasites within the Congress party such as Manickam Tagore, Girish Chodankar, and Praveen Chakravarty also became a reason. As a result, the alliance’s good name and unity were called into question in the public sphere. While being members of both the DMK alliance and the Congress party, they acted as sleeper cells for another party.
As a result, even within the Congress party, the efforts of those who genuinely worked for the alliance’s victory were wasted as well. Carrying the burden of such rotten corpses within the Congress party also became one of the reasons for the decline in the party’s votes. After throwing off that burden, support for the party among the people has now multiplied many times over. The party comrades have regained their energy. The results of the recently concluded by-election say the same thing.
What right does Manickam Tagore have in the first place to say that DMK MPs did not participate in the protest demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner? When the youths who fought against SIR in Tamil Nadu were arrested by the TVK government, DMK MPs held a protest demanding their release. What was Congress doing then? Can those who were sipping coffee with Chief Minister Vijay speak about the party?
As soon as the Indian Express newspaper published an article about the irregularities that took place in the Election Commission, our leader Mr. M.K. Stalin was the first person from Tamil Nadu to issue a statement saying that Gyanesh Kumar should be removed from office.

He also spoke openly about this during the by-election campaigns. Not only that, but as early as last April, DMK Members of Parliament also signed the notice submitted on behalf of the opposition parties demanding that Gnanesh Kumar be removed from office.
Following the betrayal committed by Congress parasites against the DMK, in violation of coalition dharma, for the sake of office begging, we have withdrawn from the India alliance. Since the DMK is no longer part of the India alliance, there is no need for them to join the struggles they undertake from now on. They do not have the right to force us to join either. From now on, our path is our own path!
If Manickam Tagore were a sensible man, he should ask why Vijay, the leader of TVK, which is in alliance with the Congress, did not join the protest. Vijay is a coward who did not utter a single word about Gyanesh Kumar, the BJP, or Prime Minister Modi. People like Manickam Tagore, who lick the feet of such a coward, have absolutely no right to speak about the DMK’s opposition to the BJP.
For the past two days, India’s youth have gathered in Delhi and have been protesting, demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s removal from office. Severe repression and violence have been unleashed against them.

Many former Chief Ministers and even Members of Parliament have not escaped this oppression. In protest against this, the party leader, Mr. M.K. Stalin, has been continuously voicing strong condemnation.
Even members of the Trinamool Congress, the SFI organization, and even the cockroach Janata Party are sincerely thanking us for this and sharing the condemnation statement of our party leader, Thiru. M.K. Stalin. Looking at people like us, Manickam Tagore has spewed the words, “The DMK fears that if it takes part in the struggle against SIR, it will have to antagonize the BJP.”
The DMK is not a movement that fears anyone! Even amid election campaigning, it was our leader M.K. Stalin who donned black attire and torched the constituency delimitation bill to defeat the BJP’s attempt.
Why has Chief Minister Vijay, the full-on lightweight who has been cracking punchlines like “fascism” and “payasam,” not spoken so far about SIR and Gyanesh Kumar? Is he part of the Congress alliance or not? Why doesn’t Manickam Tagore have the guts to question him? Even within the Congress party, some MPs with self-respect have raised questions about Chief Minister Vijay’s fake silence and about his government suppressing protests in Tamil Nadu.

But Manickam Tagore, who is the party’s leader, is kneeling at the feet of the Panaiyur landlord and shouting toward the DMK.
We are not in a position to be lectured by all these people on opposition to the BJP. Especially, people like Manickam Tagore, who live off others’ labor like leeches, should not speak about the DMK, which built the strongest alliance in India against the BJP and achieved complete victory in two consecutive parliamentary elections. We warn you not to speak about the DMK anymore for the biscuit thrown by the TVK. If the slander continues, you will have to face the consequences,” it criticized sharply.
