Chennai: Those interested in participating in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue event can apply by Sept. 30, said Senthil Kumar, Director of the Tamil Nadu division of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
National Youth Day is celebrated on Jan. 12, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. On this occasion, the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports conducts an annual event called the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi.
Young people can directly share innovative ideas, suggestions, and solutions with the Prime Minister to help transform India into a developed nation by 2047. In this context, the selection process for the event to be held in January 2027, along with quiz competitions, has begun across the country.
Regarding this, Senthilkumar, Director of the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry division of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in Chennai, said: The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is being held in five stages. In the first stage, the online quiz competition that began on Sept. 1 on the ‘My Bharat’ website (mybharat.gov.in) will continue until Sept. 30.
As the second stage, the essay competition will be held online from Oct. 5 to 19. As the third stage, the best 50 essays from each district will be selected for the ‘PPT presentation’ round. The district-level PPT presentation will be held from Nov. 10 to 16. It will be conducted based on the themes of the blue economy, human resources, and global competitiveness.
As the fourth stage, the state-level Viksit Bharat dialogue will be held from Nov. 17 to Dec. 12. As the fifth stage, the national-level competition will be held from Jan. 10 to 12. Interested youth can register and participate through the ‘My Bharat’ online platform. So far, 70,000 young people have registered. He said this.
