Marai Malai Nagar: On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the AIADMK, a public meeting was held yesterday on Pavendar Road in Maraimalainagar. AIADMK General Secretary Palaniswami, who participated in it, accused the TVK government of rising prices, deterioration in law and order, and an increase in drug circulation.
AIADMK was founded in 1972 for the people. It has governed Tamil Nadu for 32 years and implemented various welfare schemes for the people. AIADMK is the only movement where even an ordinary cadre can rise to the party’s highest position. It is a living party. No one can destroy it. In the case of the current TVK, in the six months of governance, the people have received only rising prices as a gift.
The prices of essential and construction materials, including rice, have increased. During the Deepavali season, the prices of Aavin sweet products have also been raised. In Tamil Nadu, there is an atmosphere of insecurity for women, girls, and children.
The police have been unable to find the missing girl in the Gingee area even after more than 30 days. Because drugs including cannabis are readily available, crimes such as murder, robbery, mugging, and sexual offenses are increasing. In Nagapattinam, officials from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 135 kg of methamphetamine worth Rs. 400 crore.
17 prisoners have escaped from the Theni district prison. Similar incidents have occurred in places including Salem and Coimbatore. During the AIADMK regime, 11 government medical colleges were started in a single year. The scheme introduced by Jayalalithaa to provide gold for the mangalsutra has been renamed and announced as the Annan Seer scheme. In the present regime, administration is being carried out without planning. The government is functioning like a vehicle without brakes.
With farmers, nurses, and people from all walks of life joining the struggle, Tamil Nadu has turned into a battleground. No one needs to conspire to topple this government. The TVK members themselves will bring down the government. Like the phoenix bird, AIADMK will rise again in Tamil Nadu. Its rule will flourish. He said this.
