The second match of the one-day cricket series between India and New Zealand will be played in Wellington on Saturday (Nov. 7).
It is noteworthy that India are leading after winning the first match of this five-match series.
In that match, India’s bowling lineup was expected to struggle, but despite their lack of experience, the Indian players bowled brilliantly and kept New Zealand under control.
Gurnoor Brar, Anshul Kamboj, and Arshdeep Singh will take the field in this match too, determined to maintain that same momentum. Akif Nabi, who did not take a wicket in that match, can be expected to open his account here.
Or, the team management may even have a plan to field Mohammed Siraj in his place. Virat Kohli is shining in batting. Rohit Sharma, who struggled in the first match, can be expected to bounce back here.
Captain Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, and KL Rahul are also expected to lend support.
As for the New Zealand team, it is clear that Will Young, Tim Seifert, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham, and Glenn Phillips will definitely come in with a plan to challenge the Indian bowlers.
Jacob Duffy will pose a threat to the Indian batters in the bowling attack, with Kyle Jamieson, Nathan Smith, and Blair Tickner supporting him.
Probable XI:
India: Shubman Gill (captain), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, K.L. Rahul (wk.), Naman Dhir, Axar Patel, Anshul Kamboj, Gurnoor Brar, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj.
New Zealand: Tim Seifert, Will Young, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner (captain), Nathan Smith, Kyle Jamieson, Jacob Duffy, Blair Tickner.

Chance of rain
This second ODI between India and New Zealand is expected to be affected by rain.
Since it also rained on Friday, the practice plans for both teams were altered. It is noteworthy that the first match was already affected by rain.
Conway ruled out
New Zealand batter Devon Conway has been ruled out of this ODI series. Conway, who suffered a head injury (concussion) after an unexpected collision with Matthew Henry during practice before the first match, did not take part in that game.
While it was expected that he would recover from that injury and feature in this series, he has now been ruled out of the series. Batter Nick Kelly has joined the squad in his place. Matthew Henry, who collided with Conway, has recovered from that injury and remains in the team.
