Former England player Kevin Pietersen has spoken about West Indies captain Shai Hope registering his name for the IPL auction.
The West Indies team is touring India and playing in the ODI and T20 series. With the ODI series between the two teams now over, the T20 series is currently underway.
West Indies captain Shai Hope, who stunned everyone by smashing two centuries in the ODI series, is continuing his blazing form in the T20 series as well. After scoring a half-century in the first T20 match, he impressed again by smashing a century in the second T20 match held in Ranchi yesterday (October 9). West Indies created history by chasing down the mammoth target of 250 runs to win yesterday’s match.
In yesterday’s game, Shai Hope smashed a century in just 45 balls and has scored 154 runs across the two matches. His strike rate stands at 187.
In this context, Kevin Pietersen’s post on X about West Indies captain Shai Hope has drawn attention.
In that post, he said that if Shai Hope registers his name for the IPL mini auction, hands would go up from a few tables to bid for him.
If Shai Hope puts his name into mini IPL auction, there might be some paddles in the air from a few tables
