Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that he will work for the people until his last breath.
A livestock breeding research center has been built on 127 acres in Banaskantha, Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this center yesterday morning. He also laid the foundation stone for setting up two bio-biogas plants there. Later, at a ceremony held in Banaskantha, he launched various development projects worth Rs. 14,000 crore.
He also laid the foundation stone for several projects, including the Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2 project. At the event, under the PM-Kisan scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi disbursed Rs. 19,000 crore as the 24th installment for about 10 crore small and marginal farmers. Speaking at the event, he said: Previous governments had been deceiving farmers. The BJP government is fulfilling all the promises it made to farmers, including the minimum support price.
By providing 12 lakh solar power generation units for agricultural cultivation, electricity worth Rs. 50 lakh crore has been saved. Honey production has doubled over the past 12 years. As a result, India has secured the second position in honey exports.
Because wars are taking place in various countries around the world, the entire world has been affected. In this difficult situation, some people are creating fear among the public. They are spreading rumors that there is a shortage of fertilizers and cooking gas cylinders.
Fertilizer prices have risen significantly worldwide. A bag of fertilizer is being sold for Rs. 3,000. However, fertilizers are being distributed to Indian farmers without any shortage at a price of Rs. 300. Today, about Rs. 19,000 crore has been deposited into the bank accounts of 10 crore farmers.
In this scheme alone, 50 lakh farmers in Gujarat have benefited. Across the country, financial assistance of Rs. 4.5 lakh crore has so far been provided to small and marginal farmers. I have completed 25 years in public life. All these years, the people of Gujarat have been extending me immense support. I express my heartfelt gratitude to them. I will continue to work for the people until my last breath. He said this.
