In the third T20 match against Afghanistan, the Indian team registered a superb victory by 127 runs.
The third and final T20 match between India and Afghanistan was played today (September 17) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bowl, while India batted first in this match.

Batting first, India scored 221 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of the allotted 20 overs.
Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson opened the innings for the Indian team. The pair produced an outstanding performance, sending boundaries and sixes flying. From the very start, Abhishek Sharma played aggressively and set a record by smashing the fastest century in just 30 balls. He scored 108 runs off 34 balls, including 9 boundaries and 11 sixes.
At the other end, Sanju Samson played brilliantly and impressed with a half-century. He scored 50 runs off 35 balls, including 2 boundaries and 4 sixes.
Following them, captain Shreyas Iyer scored 29 runs, Shivam Dube 14 runs, and Ishan Kishan 10 runs. The other players did not contribute many runs.
For Afghanistan, Azmatullah Omarzai took two wickets. Rashid Khan and Abdullah Ahmadzai took one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 222 runs for victory, Afghanistan were unable to cope with India’s bowling and were bowled out for 94 in 14.1 overs. With this, the Indian team registered a commanding win by 127 runs.
For Afghanistan, captain Ibrahim Zadran top-scored with 25 runs. He was followed by Azmatullah Omarzai with 17 runs, Rahmanullah Gurbaz with 15 runs, and Noor ul Rahman with 11 runs. All the other players were dismissed after scoring in single digits.
For India, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravi Bishnoi impressed by taking three wickets each. Axar Patel took two wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah and Yash Thakur took one wicket each.
With this victory, India completely won the three-match T20 series 3-0.
