An shocking audio of TVK functionary Anees, who allegedly negotiated bribes of up to 15 lakh rupees for appointments of government advocates in Kanyakumari district, has been released. In a case filed by someone named Jagan Raj in connection with this, the Madurai Bench of the Chennai High Court has severely criticized the TVK government. In a statement issued by DMK organizing secretary R.S. Bharathi regarding this, “The court has torn off and exposed the mask of the TVK government, which had disguised itself as a noble administration that would eradicate corruption. Soon after coming to power, several complaints arose that the TVK government had started collecting party funds in the appointments of government advocates.
A lawyer named Gnanasundari, who belongs to the TVK, filed a case in the Chennai High Court alleging that between 5 lakh and 30 lakh rupees were collected in the appointment of government advocates. DMK deputy organizing secretary P. Thaayagam Kavi filed a complaint with the DVAC, demanding that the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption investigate this corruption. But what did the self-proclaimed crusaders against corruption do? They expelled the lawyer who filed the complaint from the party and tried to cover up the case.
Recently, an audio clip surfaced causing shock, in which TVK functionary Anees was heard allegedly negotiating bribes of up to 15 lakh rupees for appointments of government advocates in Kanyakumari district. In a case filed by a person named Jagan Raj regarding this, the Madurai Bench of the Chennai High Court strongly criticized the TVK government.
The court asked, "Do they want to become lawyers by paying bribes?" and "Will these people save the country or protect the law?" It has ordered that the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption immediately investigate this complaint.

In addition, the court has directly criticized the Anti-Corruption Department’s sluggish functioning, asking, “Even though a complaint regarding the government advocate appointment scam was sent to the Anti-Corruption Department in advance, why have they still not begun an investigation? If a complaint comes in, won’t you investigate? Even though there are audio recordings related to bribery, why have you still not registered a case and conducted an investigation?”
The High Court has delivered a sharp blow to Vijay’s government, which tried to cover up the corruption.
Reports are coming in that bribes worth several crores of rupees were taken through this government advocate appointment scam. Was this several-crore amount collected for the TVK Party Fund? Will DVAC investigate it? Will the anti-corruption department raid the home of the law minister responsible for this?
To preserve the image they had been projecting as “pure power,” they had been using the anti-corruption department as a branch organization of TVK. But today, the Madurai Bench of the High Court has stripped away the facade of this so-called pure power. It has been revealed that they are not pure power; TVK is a thieving force.
Was all the unnecessary Take Diversion politics by RSS Nirmalkumar meant to cover up this mega scam? Does Minister Nirmal Kumar, who distracts people by hurling slander without answering any questions, have answers to the questions the court will ask? Where did Vijay sir, who posed as a saint, go? Why didn’t he investigate the corruption in the appointment of government lawyers as soon as the complaint came in? Will the DVAC investigate the complaint filed on behalf of the DMK now? Or will you wait for the court to order that too?
You said there was a file on the table! But in reality, it is on the court’s table that the corruption files made by TVK members are lying. The court has now opened one of them. Soon, each and every corruption of the TVK government will come out into the open.
It has now fallen into the hands of TVK in Tamil Nadu, like giving the house key to a thief. Soon, the people of Tamil Nadu will teach this rogue gang a fitting lesson," he noted.
