Erode: More than 15 more people will leave the AIADMK; who they are remains to be seen, said Minister Sengottaiyan.
In Semandampalayam, near Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, Revenue Minister Sengottaiyan inaugurated a part-time ration shop. Speaking afterward, he said: Today, the government is in a situation where it has a debt of Rs. 13 lakh crore, and it is compelled to pay interest alone of Rs. 347 crore per day. Even in this difficult period, the government is implementing various welfare schemes.
Very soon, 15 people are going to leave the AIADMK. Some of the administrators from the AIADMK are holding meetings and discussing things. The reality is that today many people could not even stand in the election field. Those who said in the election, “I will come, you will come,” have all ended up in second or third place. Fortunately, Palaniswami removed me from the AIADMK. That is why I have got the opportunity to join TVK and work for the people,” he said.
Continuing, at the welfare assistance distribution event held in Perundurai, reporters asked Minister Sengottaiyan, “Are 15 MLAs going to leave the AIADMK?” Responding to this, Minister Sengottaiyan said, “I only said that 15 people will come from the AIADMK. I did not say who they would be.
Journalists should not imagine things and ask whether the MLAs are coming. They should wait and see who will come. There have already been many problems in the AIADMK. The issue currently happening in the AIADMK must be resolved jointly by Palaniswami and Velumani,” he said.
