Bengaluru: Leaders of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) have received financial assistance from the United States and Pakistan. There is strong evidence for this, Union Minister Jitendra Singh has alleged.
As a result of the protest held in Delhi by the CJP against the NEET question paper leak, Dharmendra Pradhan resigned as the Union Education Minister. Following this, continuous protests have been held in Delhi by the CJP since October 10, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in the SIR issue.
In this connection, several cases have been registered against CJP founder Abhijit Thipke, news coordinator Saurav Das, and organizer Ashutosh Ranga. The three, who were in jail, have been released on conditional bail. All three have signed an undertaking stating that they will not engage in unlawful activities for one year.
In this context, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said in Bengaluru yesterday to reporters: Non-governmental organizations operating against India have provided financial assistance to CJP leaders. Strong evidence for this has been obtained.
CJP leader Abhijit Thipke has received funding from organizations based in the United States.
Its coordinator, Ashutosh Ranga, has received money from Pakistani political leaders. He has made such allegations. Delhi Crime Branch police sources have said that a detailed investigation will be conducted into this matter involving Abhijit Thipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranga.
