Prime Minister Modi has congratulated the Indian athletes who excelled at the Asian Para Games. In his post, he said, “Congratulations on India’s finest victory.”
The Asian Para Games, held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, began in a grand manner on Oct. 18 (Sunday) and concluded last night. Indian athletes performed exceptionally well in the event.
Overall, India won 30 gold, 35 silver, and 49 bronze medals, finishing in fourth place with a total of 114 medals.
Previously, at the 2014 Asian Para Games, they won only 33 medals, including 3 golds; by 2026, our differently-abled athletes have progressed to the point of winning 114 medals, including 30 golds.
While they had won only 84 medals at the Asian Games, India’s para athletes have achieved a remarkable feat by winning 114 medals at the Asian Para Games.
