The second ODI between South Africa and Australia was held in Johannesburg yesterday (September 27). In this match, South Africa defeated Australia by 32 runs to claim victory.
The South African team, batting first, scored 365 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. In that team, captain Temba Bavuma and David Miller impressed with centuries. Playing aggressively, David Miller scored 142 runs off 93 balls. Temba Bavuma scored 103 runs. Matthew Breetzke scored 34 runs, and Dwayne Jansen scored 27* runs.
For Australia, Jack Edwards impressed by taking 5 wickets. Josh Hazlewood took 3 wickets, and Xavier Bartlett took one wicket.

Chasing a target of 366 runs for victory, the Australian team was bowled out for 333 runs in 49.5 overs. As a result, Australia lost by 32 runs.
The Australian openers gave the team an excellent start. Openers captain Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head both impressed with half-centuries. Mitchell Marsh scored 84 runs off 53 balls (10 fours, 5 sixes), while Travis Head made 84 runs off 76 balls (12 fours, 1 six).
After that, Cooper Connolly scored 10 runs, Alex Carey 17 runs, Matt Renshaw 32 runs, and Cameron Green 17 runs before being dismissed at regular intervals. Xavier Bartlett, who played aggressively down the order, scored 50 runs off 28 balls. His innings included 2 boundaries and 5 sixes.
For South Africa, Lizaad Williams took 3 wickets, while Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, and Jorne Fortuin took two wickets each. Aiden Markram took one wicket.
David Miller, who played an explosive innings and scored a century, was awarded the Player of the Match. With this victory, the South African team clinched the three-match ODI series 2-0.
