The second ODI between Australia and Zimbabwe was played today (September 18) at Harare Sports Club. Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to bowl, so Australia batted first.

Batting first, Australia scored 356 runs for the loss of 6 wickets at the end of the allotted 50 overs.
The Australian team's top-order batters put on a superb display and piled up the runs. Opening batter Travis Head was outstanding, smashing a century. He was dismissed after scoring 112 runs off 84 balls, including 15 boundaries and 3 sixes. The other opener, captain Mitchell Marsh, also impressed with a half-century. He scored 53 runs off 63 balls, including 3 boundaries and 3 sixes.
After that, Cooper Connolly scored 78 runs off 69 balls. This included 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. Josh Inglis scored 21 runs, Alex Carey 20 runs, and Matt Renshaw 15 runs. In the final stages, Oliver Peake played aggressively and remained unbeaten on 41 runs off 18 balls. This included 2 boundaries and 3 sixes.
For Zimbabwe, Brad Evans took 3 wickets, and Wellington Masakadza took two wickets. Wesley Madhevere took one wicket.
