இத்தேர்தல் தாக்கரே சகோதரர்களுக்கு முக்கியமான சோதனையாக இருக்கும் என்று அரசியல் நோக்கர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். “உத்தவ் தாக்கரே 20 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு தனது சித்தப்பா மகன் ராஜ் தாக்கரேயுடன் கூட்டணி சேர்ந்துள்ளார். ஆனால் சிவசேனா உடைந்த பிறகு வேறு வழியில்லாமல்தான் கடைசியாக உத்தவ் தாக்கரே ராஜ் தாக்கரேயிடம் வந்திருக்கிறார். அதேசமயம் ராஜ் தாக்கரேயும் தேர்தலில் தொடர்ந்து தோல்வியைச் சந்தித்து வந்தார். எனவேதான் உத்தவ் தாக்கரேயுடன் வேறு வழியில்லாமல் கூட்டணி சேர்ந்துள்ளார்.
