வழக்கமாக ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் ஆட்சி மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் கேரளத்தில் கடந்த முறை மட்டுமே தொடர்ந்து 2 வது முறையாக ஆட்சியைத் தக்கவைத்தது. இந்த முறை பழையபடி மீண்டும் ஆட்சிமாற்றத்துக்கு வித்திட்டுள்ளனர் கேரள மக்கள்.
