Minister Rajmohan has said that the live broadcast in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly will continue.
He also said that the claim that TVK MLA Vijay Thamu tried to hit DMK MLAs in the Assembly is false.
The first session of the TVK government’s Legislative Assembly began on June 18 with the Governor’s address. On the second day, yesterday (June 19), the Assembly was being live-streamed when it was suddenly stopped. Opposition members have been raising questions about this and expressing their condemnation.
In this situation, speaking to reporters in Chennai, Rajmohan said,
"It was I who said that during the previous regime, the Assembly proceedings were blacked out by not being telecast live. I am saying it again now. I too was speaking at length because I was under the impression that the Assembly proceedings were being telecast live. Only when I came out in between did they tell me that it was not being telecast live. I immediately went and inquired as well.
Our position is that such legislative assembly proceedings should be telecast live in a democracy. I have spoken with the concerned department and officials. The live telecast will continue in the coming days," he said.

"Kadantha aatchiyil peravai nigazhvugal neralai seiyappadaamal sattapperavai iruttadippu seiyappattathu endru naanthaan koorinen. Ippothum naanthaan koorugiren. Peravai nadavadikkaigal neralai sendrukondirukkira nambikkaiyilthaan naanum neenda neram pesik kondirunthen. Idaiyil veliyil varumbothuthaan neralai pogavillai endru sonnaargal. Udanadiyaaga naanum sendru visaarithen.
Jananaayagathil ithupondra sattapperavai nigazhvugal neralai seiyappada vendum enbathuthaan engaludaiya nilaippadu. Sammandhappatta thurai, adhigaarigaludan pesiyirukkiren. Ini varum naatkalil neralai thodarum" endraar.

தமிழ்நாடு சட்டப்பேரவையில் நேரலை தொடரும் என அமைச்சர் ராஜ்மோகன் தகவல் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
மேலும் சட்டப்பேரவையில் திமுக எம்எல்ஏக்களை தவெக எம்எல்ஏ விஜய் தாமு அடிக்க முற்பட்டதாகக் கூறப்படுவது தவறு என்றும் தெரிவித்தார்.
தவெக அரசின் முதல் சட்டப்பேரவைக் கூட்டத்தொடர் ஜூன் 18 ஆம் தேதி ஆளுநர் உரையுடன் தொடங்கியது. 2-ம் நாளாக நேற்று (ஜூன் 19) பேரவை நேரலை செய்யப்பட்டபோது திடீரென நிறுத்தப்பட்டது. எதிர்க்கட்சியினர் இதுகுறித்து பலரும் கேள்வி எழுப்பி வருவதுடன் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.
இந்நிலையில் சென்னையில் செய்தியாளர்களுடன் பேசிய ராஜ்மோகன்,
“கடந்த ஆட்சியில் பேரவை நிகழ்வுகள் நேரலை செய்யப்படாமல் சட்டப்பேரவை இருட்டடிப்பு செய்யப்பட்டது என்று நான்தான் கூறினேன். இப்போதும் நான்தான் கூறுகிறேன். பேரவை நடவடிக்கைகள் நேரலை சென்றுகொண்டிருக்கிற நம்பிக்கையில்தான் நானும் நீண்ட நேரம் பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். இடையில் வெளியில் வரும்போதுதான் நேரலை போகவில்லை என்று சொன்னார்கள். உடனடியாக நானும் சென்று விசாரித்தேன்.
ஜனநாயகத்தில் இதுபோன்ற சட்டபேரவை நிகழ்வுகள் நேரலை செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் எங்களுடைய நிலைப்பாடு. சம்மந்தப்பட்ட துறை, அதிகாரிகளுடன் பேசியிருக்கிறேன். இனி வரும் நாள்களில் நேரலை தொடரும்” என்றார்.
