Speaking at the government welfare program held today in Madurai, Chief Minister M.K. This is the largest government event we have conducted so far. I am pleased and amazed to see Minister Moorthy's grand arrangements. He has made this government award ceremony resemble the Chithirai festival. Moorthy, who has earned a great reputation by generating significant revenue for Tamil Nadu's treasury through his departments, is today well respected among the people of Madurai, to the extent that one can call it a government festival or a conference. Similarly, another minister from this district, P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, is a person of capability, intelligence, creative thinking, and visionary outlook; an excellent administrator. At the same time, he effectively uses his style to respond to those who sow hatred in the name of God. He too deserves praise. At the Madurai festival, having rescued Tamil Nadu from the previous troubled administration, under our Dravidian model of governance, the entire India—and indeed, the world—looks back with admiration at the progressive approach. புதுமைப்பெண் திட்டத்தில், மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் மட்டும் 63 ஆயிரத்து 400 பெண்களுக்கு மாதம் ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வழங்குகிறோம்.
அதேபோல், தமிழ்ப்புதல்வன் திட்டத்தில் மாவட்டத்தில் 31 ஆயிரம் கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கு மாதம் ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

‘இல்லம் தேடிக் கல்வி’, ‘எண்ணும் எழுத்தும்’ திட்டங்களில் மூன்று இலட்சம் மாணவ–மாணவிகளும், ‘நான் முதல்வன்’ திட்டத்தில் ஒரு இலட்சத்து 17 ஆயிரம் இளைஞர்களும், ‘உங்களுடன் ஸ்டாலின்’ திட்டத்தில் 75 ஆயிரத்து 597 பேரும், ‘நலம் காக்கும் ஸ்டாலின்’ திட்டத்தில் 22 ஆயிரத்து 766 நபர்களும், ‘தாயுமானவர்’ திட்டத்தில் 86 ஆயிரத்து 130 பேரும் பயனடைந்துள்ளார்கள்.
முதல்வரின் முகவரி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 3 இலட்சத்து 75 ஆயிரம் மனுக்களுக்குத் தீர்வு கண்டிருக்கின்றோம்.
‘அன்புக் கரங்கள்’ திட்டத்தில் 341 குழந்தைகளை பாதுகாத்துள்ளோம். மேலும், 4 ஆயிரத்து 196 விவசாயிகளுக்கு புதிய மின் இணைப்புகளை வழங்கியுள்ளோம்.

ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் இத்தனை லட்சம் மக்கள் பயனடைவது போல, நாம் திட்டங்களை செயல்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம் என்பதால்தான், எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் என்ன செய்வதென்றே தெரியாமல் முழிக்கிறார்கள். வயிற்றெரிச்சலிலும் ஆற்றாமையிலும் ஆரோக்கியமற்ற அரசியல் சூழ்ச்சிகளை செய்து பார்க்கிறார்கள்.
நாம் வளர்ச்சி அரசியலை பேசினால், அவர்கள் வேறு அரசியலை பேசுகிறார்கள். நான் உறுதியாகச் சொல்கிறேன், அவர்கள் எத்தனை சூழ்ச்சி செய்தாலும், அத்தனையையும் நாங்கள் முறியடிப்போம், சிதைப்போம். இந்த முத்துவேல் கருணாநிதி ஸ்டாலினிடம் அந்த பாச்சா எதுவும் பலிக்காது.
