With the NEET exam having been canceled and a re-exam scheduled for the 21st, the allocation of a test center in Abu Dhabi for a student from Nagpur has caused severe shock.

Abdullah Mohammad Talib, a student from Nagpur in Maharashtra, had been preparing for the NEET re-exam and downloaded his re-exam admit card from the website. He was shocked to see that the exam center listed on it was Abu Dhabi.

Speaking about this, his father said that for so many days they had been unable to download the admit card. We tried many times. Yesterday evening, when we downloaded the NEET entrance exam admit card and checked where the exam center was, it was mentioned as Abu Dhabi.

At first, we did not understand anything. We were in a state of shock. We were stunned that Abu Dhabi had appeared even though we had not chosen it among the options for the exam center city.

We immediately contacted the helpline. They instructed us to send an email about it. We also sent an email. They advised us to choose several other cities. But we have requested that it be in Nagpur itself.

Because of this confusion, student Abdullah was under severe mental stress. For two days, he kept crying. He told us that he would not be taking the exam. But both I and his mother have been trying to console him. He has made it clear to us that we do not have a passport at all.

Many people have been shocked by the groom’s social media post. Congress party leader Rahul has condemned this.

As this issue has come to light, the National Testing Agency has explained that an alternative arrangement will be made. It also noted that the student does not need to travel to Abu Dhabi to take the exam, and that a test center in Nagpur will be allotted.

மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலம் நாக்பூரைச் சேர்ந்த அப்துல்லா மொஹம்மது தலிப் என்ற மாணவர், நீட் மறுதேர்வுக்கு தயாராகி வந்த நிலையில், அவர் தன்னுடைய நீட் மறுதேர்வு நுழைவுச் சீட்டை இணையதளத்திலிருந்து பதிவிறக்கம் செய்துள்ளார். அதில் அபுதாபி என்று தேர்வு மையம் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்ததைப் பார்த்து அதிர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளார்.

இது குறித்து அவரது தந்தை கூறுகையில், இத்தனை நாள்களாக அனுமதிச் சீட்டை பதிவிறக்கம் செய்ய முடியாமல் இருந்தது. பல முறை முயன்றோம். நேற்று மாலை நீட் நுழைவுத் தேர்வுக்கான அனுமதிச் சீட்டை பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து, தேர்வு மையம் எங்கே உள்ளது என்று பார்த்தால் அது அபுதாபி என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

முதலில் எங்களுக்கு ஒன்றே புரியவில்லை. கடுமையான அதிர்ச்சியில் இருந்தோம். தேர்வு மைய நகரத்துக்கான வாய்ப்புகளில் நாங்கள் அதனை தேர்வு செய்யாத நிலையில் அபுதாபி என்று வந்திருப்பது எப்படி என்று அதிர்ச்சி ஏற்பட்டது.

உடனடியாக உதவி எண்ணை நாடினோம். அது குறித்து மின்னஞ்சல் அனுப்புமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார்கள். நாங்களும் மின்னஞ்சல் அனுப்பினோம். வேறு பல நகரங்களை தேர்வு செய்யுமாறு எங்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தினார்கள். ஆனால், நாங்கள் நாக்பூரிலேயே வேண்டும் என்று கோரியிருக்கிறோம்.

இந்த குழப்பத்தால் மாணவர் அப்துல்லா கடும் மன உளைச்சலுக்கு ஆளானார். இரண்டு நாள்களாக அவர் அழுதுகொண்டேயிருந்தார். தேர்வெழுதப்போவதில்லை என்று எங்களிடம் கூறினார். ஆனால் நானும் அவரது தாயும் அவரை சமாதானம் செய்து வருகிறோம். எங்களிடம் பாஸ்போர்ட் வட கிடையாது என்று தெளிவுபடுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.

மணவரின் சமூக வலைத்தளப் பதிவால் பலரும் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்துள்ளனர். இதற்கு காங்கிரஸ் கட்சித் தலைவர் ராகுல் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இந்த விவகாரம் வெளிச்சத்துக்கு வந்த நிலையில் மாற்று ஏற்பாடு செய்வதாக தேசிய தேர்வு முகமை விளக்கம் கொடுத்துள்ளது. மாணவர் தேர்வெழுத அபுதாபி செல்லத் தேவையில்லை, நாக்பூரில் உள்ள ஒரு தேர்வு மையம் ஒதுக்கப்படுகிறது என்றும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.
