The RSS has alleged that petrol bombs were thrown at its office in Ranchi in the early hours of Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 12:30 a.m. at the organization’s office in Nivaranpur, under the jurisdiction of the Suttiya police station, said Snigdha Ranjan, head of the RSS’s media coordination unit in Ranchi.
Police said an investigation into the incident is underway from all angles. Broken pieces of two glass bottles were found at the scene.
Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan told a private news agency that forensic science laboratory teams have been called in to confirm what substances were in those bottles.
He said efforts are under way to identify those involved in the incident.

அப்பாட்டில்களில் என்ன பொருள் இருந்தன என்பதை உறுதிப்படுத்த தடயவியல் அறிவியல் ஆய்வக குழுவினர் வரவழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர் என ராஞ்சி மூத்த காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர் ராகேஷ் ரஞ்சன் தனியார் செய்தி நிறுவனத்திடம் கூறினார்.
இச்சம்பவத்தில் ஈடுபட்டவர்களை அடையாளம் காணும் முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருவதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
