Actress Gautami, the AIADMK’s deputy propaganda secretary, has announced that she is stepping away from the party.
Regarding this, in a letter written by actress Gautami to AIADMK general secretary Edappadi Palaniswami, she said:
From today (June 14), considering the current political situation, I am relieving myself, with a heavy heart, from the post of AIADMK basic member and the post of deputy propaganda secretary that I have been holding, so that I may engage in social service.
“From the day I joined the AIADMK until today, I sincerely thank and bow to the former ministers, top executives, other wing state secretaries, district secretaries, union secretaries, area, union, town panchayat, and city secretaries who have supported me in every way, and I hereby relieve myself from the AIADMK,” he/she has noted.
Actress Gautami, who joined the AIADMK from the BJP in February 2024, has announced that she is leaving the AIADMK after two years.

அதிமுகவில் சேர்ந்த நாள் முதல் இன்று வரை எனக்கு எல்லா வகையிலும் ஒத்துழைப்பு நல்கிய முன்னாள் அமைச்சர்கள், தலைமை நிர்வாகிகள், பிற அணி மாநில செயலாளர்கள். மாவட்டச் செயலாளர்கள், வட்டச் செயலாளர்கள், பகுதி, ஒன்றிய, பேரூர், நகரச் செயலாளர்களையும் மனதார வணங்கி நன்றி கூறி என்னை அதிமுகவில் இருந்து விடுவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்” என்று குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
நடிகை கெளதமி, கடந்த பிப்ரவரி 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு பாஜகவில் இருந்து அதிமுகவில் இணைந்த நிலையில், 2 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அதிமுகவில் இருந்து விலகுவதாக அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
