All 10 candidates who contested the election for the Bihar Legislative Council seats have been elected unopposed.
The deadline for candidates to withdraw their nominations in the Bihar Legislative Council election ended today.
Following this, all 10 candidates who contested the Bihar Legislative Council election have been elected unopposed. Nine candidates from the National Democratic Alliance and one candidate from the Rashtriya Janata Dal were elected without contest.
Among the key figures are Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar’s former Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar, and Bhojpuri actor-singer Pawan Singh. It is also noteworthy that Nishant Kumar serves as the state Health Minister in the NDA government led by Samrat Choudhary.
While elections were held for the 9 seats that are normally contested, one seat was filled through a by-election.
Four candidates each from the BJP and JD(U), and one candidate from the LJP(RV) were elected. One candidate from the opposition RJD has won.

பிகாரில் நடைபெற்ற மேலவை உறுப்பினர்களுக்கான தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட்ட 10 வேட்பாளர்களும் போட்டியின்றி தேர்வாகியுள்ளனர்.
பிகார் மேலவைத் தேர்தலில் வேட்பாளர்கள் வேட்பு மனுக்களைத் திரும்பப் பெறுவதற்கான காலக்கெடு இன்றுடன் முடிவடைந்தது.
இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, பிகார் மேலவைத் தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட்ட 10 வேட்பாளர்களும் போட்டியின்றி தேர்வாகியுள்ளனர். தேசிய ஜனநாயகக் கூட்டணியைச் சேர்ந்த 9 வேட்பாளர்களும், ராஷ்டிரிய ஜனதா தளத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு வேட்பாளரும் போட்டியின்றி தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர்.
பீகாரின் முன்னாள் முதல்வரும் ஜேடி(யு) கட்சியின் தலைவருமான நிதிஷ் குமாரின் மகன் நிஷாந்த் குமாரும், போஜ்புரி நடிகரும் பாடகருமான பவன் சிங் ஆகியோர் இதில் முக்கியமானவர்கள். சம்ராட் சௌத்ரி தலைமையிலான என்.டி.ஏ அரசில் நிஷாந்த் குமார் மாநில சுகாதார அமைச்சராகவும் உள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
வழக்கமாக நடைபெறும் 9 இடங்களுக்குத் தேர்தல் நடைபெற்ற நிலையில், ஒரு இடம் இடைத்தேர்தல் மூலம் நிரப்பப்பட்டது.
பாஜக மற்றும் ஜேடி (யு) கட்சிகளிலிருந்து தலா 4 வேட்பாளர்களும், எல்ஜேபி (ஆர்வி) கட்சியிலிருந்து ஒரு வேட்பாளரும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். எதிர்க்கட்சியான ஆர்ஜேடி வேட்பாளர் ஒருவர் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளார்.
