2026 சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தலில் திமுக தலைமையிலான மதச்சார்பற்ற முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணியில் அங்கம் வகித்தக் கட்சி விடுதலை சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சி. முன்னாள் முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலினுக்கு மிகவும் நெருக்கமான தலைவர்களில் ஒருவர் திருமாவளவன். நீண்டகாலமாக தொடரும் இந்த உறவில் தேர்தலுக்கு பின்பு சிறு பிணக்கு இருப்பது வெளிப்படையாக தெரிய ஆரம்பித்தது. குறிப்பாக 108 இடங்களில் வென்ற தவெக ஆட்சி அமைக்க ஆதரவு கேட்டு விசிக அலுவலகம் ஏறியபோது, அதை ஏற்கவும் இல்லாமல் மறுக்கவும் இல்லாமல் ஒரு மாதிரி தலையசைத்திருந்தார் திருமாவளவன்.

ஆனால், தவெக தலைவர் விஜய்யின் முதல் மாநாடான விக்கிரவாண்டி மாநாட்டின் உரையில், திருமாவளவனை குறிவைத்து ‘ஆட்சியில் பங்கு தருகிறோம்’ எனக் குறிப்பிட்டிருந்தார்.

இந்தப் பதிவுக்கு பதிலளிக்கும் வகையில் வி.சி.க பொருளாளர் எஸ்.எஸ்.பாலாஜி தன் எக்ஸ் பக்கத்தில்,
“அதிகாரம் எளியவர்க்கு அதிலென்ன ஆத்திரம் ஆற்றாமையால் அள்ளிவீசும் அவதூறுகள் அசைத்திடாது அமைதியாய் கடப்பது அநாகரீகம் தவிர்க்கவே. அநீதி தொடர்ந்து அனைத்தும் உரைத்தால் அணைக்க முடியா அனலில் தகித்து போவீர்!’ எனக் குறிப்பிட்டிருந்தார்.
