The election results are being announced. The DMK has surpassed the AIADMK, achieving a huge victory for Vijay. In his first general election contested in the style of M.G.R. and N.T.R., Vijay has secured a massive win. M.G.R. split from the DMK in 1972 and founded the AIADMK. M.G.R. based his politics solely on opposition to the DMK and Karunanidhi. As a result, AIADMK first won in the Dindigul by-election as a milestone. The Emergency was seen as a dark period in India. The DMK strongly opposed the Emergency, but the AIADMK supported the undemocratic Emergency.
Even so, in the first general election M.G.R. contested in 1977, AIADMK secured a clear majority and came to power. At that time, DMK criticized M.G.R., calling him a clown and a film actor. தெலுங்கு மக்களையும் ஆந்திராவையும் காங்கிரஸ் அவமதித்ததாக கூறி ஆந்திராவின் பெருமையை மீட்க போகிறேன் என என்.டி.ஆர் மக்களிடம் பிரசாரம் செய்தார். கடவுளே தரையிறங்கி வந்ததைப் போல கொண்டாடிய மக்கள் ஆரம்பித்து 9 மாதங்களே ஆன தெலுங்கு தேசத்துக்கு 201 தொகுதிகளை கொடுத்தனர்.
எம்.ஜி.ஆர், என்.டி.ஆர் பாணியில் விஜய்யும் தேர்தலுக்கு முன்பாக 2 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பாக கட்சி ஆரம்பித்து, களத்தில் இருந்த இருபெரும் திராவிட கட்சிகளையும் விஞ்சி சாதித்திருக்கிறார். 1967, 1977 இல் தமிழகத்தில் நடந்த மாற்றங்களைப் போன்று 2026 லும் நடக்குமெனக் கூறி அதை நடத்தியும் காட்டியிருக்கிறார் விஜய்.!
