The debate on the Women's Reservation Bill and the Constituency Redefinition Bill is continuing for the second day in the Lok Sabha. After the debates, voting will take place this evening (April 17). Kanimozhi, speaking in Parliament, said, "We need a clear explanation regarding the constituency redefinition. What is stated in the bill and what Amit Shah says do not align. The bill's Section 4 states that the redefinition will be based on the latest population figures. Accordingly, if redefinition is done, the number of constituencies in Tamil Nadu will decrease."
Can the number be determined based on a controlled population? If the number of Lok Sabha members is increased to 850, there won't even be an opportunity to speak. Is it a punishment for the southern states that have controlled their population? When the number of MPs increases to 850, in the future, the political constitution can be amended without even a single vote from the southern states. Even in electing the President of the Republic, the southern states will have no contribution. The BJP is bringing the delimitation bill just to impose its own caste-based agenda on the country. The majority party can change the political environment of the country by delimiting constituencies according to its preference. Tamil Nadu will fight.

அதன்படி மறுவரையறை செய்தால் தமிழ்நாட்டின் தொகுதிகள் எண்ணிக்கை குறையும். கட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்ட மக்கள் தொகை அடிப்படையில் எண்ணிக்கையை தீர்மானிக்கலாமா?
மக்களவை உறுப்பினர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை 850- ஆக உயர்த்தப்பட்டால், பேச கூட வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்காது.
மக்கள் தொகையை கட்டுப்படுத்திய தென் மாநிலங்களுக்கு தண்டனையா? எம்.பி.க்கள் எண்ணிக்கை 850 ஆக உயரும் போது, எதிர்காலத்தில் தென் மாநிலங்களில் இருந்து ஒரு வாக்கு கூட இல்லாமல் அரசியல் சாசனத்தை திருத்திவிட முடியும்.
குடியரசுத் தலைவரைத் தேர்வு செய்வதில்கூட, தெற்கு மாநிலங்களுக்கு பங்களிப்பே இருக்காது. பாஜக சொந்த சதித் திட்டத்தை நாட்டின் மீது சுமத்துவதற்காகவே தொகுதி மறுவரையறை மசோதாவை கொண்டு வருகிறது.
பெரும்பான்மை உள்ள கட்சி விருப்பம் போல் தொகுதி மறுவரையறையை செய்து நாட்டினுடைய அரசியல் சூழலையே மாற்ற முடியும். தமிழ்நாடு போராடும், தமிழ்நாடு வெல்லும்” என்று பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
