5 தொகுதிகளிலும் அந்தக் கட்சி தாமரை சின்னத்தில் போட்டியிடுகிறது. இந்நிலையில் செய்தியாளர்களைச் சந்தித்த அக்கட்சியின் தலைவர் ஜி.கே வாசன் தாமரை சின்னத்தில் போட்டியிடுவது குறித்து பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
“சைக்கிள் சின்னம் கிடைக்காததால் கூட்டணியில் இருக்கக்கூடிய பாஜகவின் தாமரை சின்னத்தில் போட்டியிடுகிறேன்.

அது நியாயமான அதிருப்திதான். ஒருவர் கட்சிப் பணிக்காக அங்கீகாரம் கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என நினைக்க கூடிய நேரம் தேர்தல்தான்” என்று தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்.
