மற்றொன்று தமிழக அரசியல் களத்தில் கனிமொழிக்கு கிடைத்து வரும் அபரீதமான வரவேற்பும், கனிமொழியை உற்சாகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. மொழி புரியாத டெல்லிக்கு சென்று அரசியல் செய்வதைவிட, தமிழகத்திலே நமது அரசியலை வேகமாக முன்னெடுக்கலாம் என்று சில மாதங்களாகவே கணக்கு போட்டுவந்தார்.
அவருக்கு நெருக்கமான ஆதரவாளர்களிடமும் இதுகுறித்து கனிமொழி ஆலோசித்து வந்தார். அவரது ஆசையை புரிந்து கொண்ட தென் மாவட்ட நிர்வாகிகள் சிலர், `வரும் சட்டமன்ற தேர்தலில் நீங்க போட்டியிடுங்க அக்கா’ என்று சொல்ல ஆரம்பித்தனர்.
அதோடு தி.மு.கவில் விருப்ப மனு பெற்ற போது, பலரும் கனிமொழி சுமார் பத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட தொகுதிகளுக்கு விருப்ப மனு அளித்துள்ளனர்.
