70 களில் ”விசிலடிச்சான் ரசிகர்கள்” என்று எம்.ஜி.ஆர். ரசிகர்களை மிக மோசமாக கிண்டல் செய்து அதன் பலனை நீண்ட நாட்கள் அனுபவித்தார்கள். எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மறைவுக்கு பிறகே 1989 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தான் மீண்டும் ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தார்கள். அதுவும் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் தான். 1991 ல் ஜெயலலிதா அவர்கள் ஆட்சியை பிடித்தார். பிறகு மாறி மாறி திமுகவும் அதிமுகவும் ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தன. 2011 ல் ஆட்சியைப் பிடித்த ஜெயலலிதா அவர்கள் 2016 ல் தொடர்ந்தார். 10 ஆண்டுகள் திமுக ஆட்சியை பிடிக்க முடியவில்லை.
வாக்குறுதிகளை வாரி இறைத்து ஏகப்பட்ட கட்சிகளை கூட்டணியில் சேர்த்துக் கொண்டு 2021 ல் திமுக ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தது.
ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தும் திமுக தனது பழைய பாணியை கைவிடவில்லை. ஏகப்பட்ட குற்றச்சாட்டுகள், ஊழல் புகார்கள், சட்டம் ஒழுங்கு சீர் குலைவுகள் என்று சொல்லிக் கொண்டே போகலாம். மத்திய அரசை ஒன்றிய அரசு என்று சொல்லி சொல்லி வெறுப்பேத்தினார்கள். வெறுப்பு அரசியல் மட்டுமே நடத்தினார்கள். நிதி இல்லை என்று சொல்லி பல வாக்குறுதிகள் நிறைவேற்றப்படவில்லை. குறிப்பாக ‘நீட் ஒழிப்பு’ . அந்த ரகசியம் என்னவென்று அவர்களுக்கே தெரியவில்லை.
திமுகவின் பலவீனத்தை காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டது. தவெக வை காட்டி காட்டி…பூதம் வருது…பூதம் வருது ன்னு குழந்தைகளை பயமுறுத்தும் பழைய டெக்னிக்கை பயன்படுத்தி காங்கிரஸ் வென்றுவிட்டது. .
28 + 1 வந்தது.
ஒரு சிறிய பிளாஸ்பேக்…1980 ல் இதே காங்கிரஸ் திமுக கூட்டணி அமைந்தது. அப்போது இந்திரா காந்தி அவர்களும் கருணாநிதி அவர்களும் இருந்தார்கள். சரிபாதி தொகுதிகளை காங்கிரஸ் கேட்டு வாங்கியது. அதிமுகவை தோற்கடிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தோடு கருணாநிதி அவர்களும் வாரி வழங்கினார். 1980 நாடாளுமன்றத் தேர்தலில் ஒரே ஒரு தொகுதியை வென்ற அதிமுக சட்டமன்ற தேர்தலில் அருதி பெரும்பான்மை பெற்று ஆட்சியை மீண்டும் பிடித்தது. ஆறே மாதத்தில் வாக்களிக்கும் முறையில் வேறுபாடு ஏற்பட்டது. காங்கிரஸ் வாக்குகள் அதிமுகவிற்கே சென்று விட்டது. தற்போது அதே போல ஒரு சூழ்நிலை உருவாகுமா…? மாணிக்கம் தாகூர் போன்றவர்கள் இன்று இல்லை…என்றாவது ஒருநாள் என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறார்கள்.
தீர்ப்பு வரும்போது தெரியும்…எது எது மாறிப் போனது என்று. சுருக்கமாக சொன்னால் 28 +1 அசாதாரணமான நம்பர். அதற்குள் ஆயிரம் விஷயங்கள் இருக்கிறது.
