தி.மு.க தரப்பில் காங்கிரஸ் கூட்டணி குறித்து கேட்டால், “காங்கிரஸ் கட்சிக்கு 25 இடங்களுக்கு மேல் கொடுக்க தி.மு.க தலைமை விரும்பவில்லை. ஏற்கனவே ஒரு ராஜ்ய சபாவுக்கு கூட ஒப்புக்கொண்டோம். ஆனால் இனி ராஜ்ய சபாவும் கிடையாது என்கிற மூடுக்கு முதல்வர் வந்துள்ளார். இத்தனை வருடம் நாங்கள் நம்பிக்கையான கூட்டணிகாக இருக்கும் போது, எங்களுக்கே கெடு வைத்து ஆழம்பார்த்தால் நாங்கள் சும்மாஇருப்போமா?” என்கிறார்கள்.
நாற்பத்தி எட்டு மணி நேரத்திற்குள் காங்கிரஸ் யார் பக்கம் இருப்பது என்கிற முடிவை எடுக்க உள்ளார்கள். இன்றைய நிலையில் த.வெ.க பக்கம் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி செல்லும் வாய்ப்பும் இருப்பதால் “போனால் போகட்டும்” என்று மாற்று திட்டத்தையும் தி.மு.க-கையில் எடுத்துள்ளது. ஒருவேளை தி.மு.கவுடன் கூட்டணியை ஒப்புக்கொண்டால், இந்த வாரத்திற்குள் தொகுதியை இறுதி செய்யவும் தி.மு.க தரப்பு முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது.
இதனால், திமுக காங்கிரஸ் தரப்பில் அடுத்த இரு நாள்களுக்கு அரசியல் அனல் தகிக்கும் என்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை.!
