இதனால் அந்த குன்று தற்போது குப்பை மலை போல் காட்சியளிக்கிறது. இந்த குன்றிற்கு பக்கத்திலேயே மழலையார் பள்ளியும், கோவில்களும் இருப்பதால் இதை கடந்து செல்பவர்களுக்கு நோய் தொற்று ஏற்படவும் வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது.
குப்பைகளை கொட்டுவது தொடர்பாக பொது மக்களிடம் கேட்ட போது, “நகராட்சியிலிருந்து தூய்மை பணியாளர்கள் சில முறை மட்டுமே குப்பை வாங்க வருகின்றனர்.
இதனால் வேறு வழியின்றி இங்கு குப்பைகளை கொட்டுகிறோம். இதனால் கொசுக்கள் தொல்லைதான் அதிகமாகிறது. நகராட்சியிலிருந்து குப்பைகளை வாங்கினாலே இது குறையும் ” என்றனர் .
இது குறித்து நகராட்சி அதிகாரிகளிடம் கேட்டபோது “அந்த பகுதியை உடனடியாக சுத்தம் செய்கிறோம். அதோடு தினமும் தூய்மை பணியாளர்களை அனுப்பி குப்பைகளை சேகரிக்க சொல்கிறோம்” என்றனர்.
