The atomic clock on the IRNSS-1F satellite stopped functioning on March 13, causing the operation of India's own 'GPS' known as NavIC to cease. Previously, this system was called the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS). With the satellite's failure, India's autonomous navigation capability has come to an end.
