In the DMK alliance, 28 seats and one Rajya Sabha seat have been allocated to the Congress, and the agreement has been signed. கிரிஷ் சோடங்கர் பேசுகையில், ‘நாங்கள் தொண்டர்களின் மனநிலைக்கே முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தோம். எங்களின் தொண்டர்களும் நிர்வாகிகளும் 58 ஆண்டுகளாக அதிகாரத்தில் இல்லை. அவர்களை முன்வைத்தே கூட்டணி பேசினோம். உள்ளாட்சியில் எங்கள் தொண்டர்களுக்கு பிரதிநிதித்துவம் வேண்டும் என்பதையே பிரதானமாக முன்வைத்தோம்.
உள்ளாட்சியிலும் கூட்டுறவிலும் எங்களின் தொண்டர்களுக்கும் உரிய பிரதிநிதித்துவம் கொடுக்கப்படும் என உறுதியளித்ததால் மட்டுமே கூட்டணிக்கு ஒத்துக்கொண்டோம்’ என்றார்.
