A minister here was removed from office due to corruption charges, and another person was appointed to that position, but even after 200 days, they have not given him a single constituency. The minority communities themselves say that this action humiliates them. Karaikal, Mahe, and Yanam areas, which are important parts of Puducherry, have seen no progress. Karaikal, the downstream region of the Cauvery, seems to have been completely abandoned.
All of this needs to be improved. Puducherry, a tourist destination, lacks adequate parking and restroom facilities. All of these must be enhanced. The Puducherry-Kadalur railway project has been a long-standing demand. I want to tell the people of Puducherry one thing: do not trust the DMK. Their job is to gain your trust and then betray you. Just as Tamil Nadu is being neglected, Puducherry should not be neglected either. Puducherry, a Union Territory with a population of 2 million, is not included in the Central Finance Commission. Because of this, Puducherry does not receive funds either under the financial distribution for states or for Union Territories.
The central government releases funds to Puducherry only in a limited and approximate manner. Since those funds are used for government employees' salaries, pension payments, and other scheme expenses, Puducherry has to take loans for the remaining needs. If this situation is to change, the only way is statehood. Plans must be made to reduce Puducherry's debt and develop a self-sustaining economy. தமிழ்நாடு, புதுச்சேரி, கேரளா, ஆந்திரா, கர்நாடகா-னு நம்ம வகையறா எங்க இருந்தாலும் அவங்க நம்ம உறவுதான்.
புதுச்சேரினாலே முதலில் மணக்குள விநாயகர், அரவிந்தர் ஆசிரமம், வில்லியனூர் மாதா ஞாபகத்துக்கு வரும். இது பாரதியார் இருந்த மண், பாரதிதாசன் பிறந்த மண்.
1977-ல் புரட்சித்தலைவர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஆட்சி அமைத்தார். ஆனால் அதற்கு முன்னாடியே 1974-ல் இங்கே அவர்களின் ஆட்சி அமைந்தது.

ஏனெனில் வேற ஒரு அரசியல் கட்சி நடத்துகிற நிகழ்ச்சியாகவே இருந்தாலும், அந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு வருகின்ற மக்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பு கொடுத்து, பாரபட்சம் காட்டாமல் இந்த அரசு நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
அப்படிப்பட்ட புதுச்சேரி அரசுக்கும், புதுச்சேரி சி.எம் சாருக்கும் மனப்பூர்வமாக நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். இதைப் பார்த்தாவது தமிழ்நாட்டில் இருக்கின்ற தி.மு.க அரசு கற்றுக் கொண்டால் நல்லா இருக்கும்.
ஆனா, அவங்க கற்றுக்கொள்ள மாட்டாங்க. வரப்போற தேர்தல்ல 100 சதவிகிதம் அவர்கள் கற்றுக் கொள்வார்கள். அதை மக்கள் பார்த்துக் கொள்வார்கள்.
புதுச்சேரி அரசின் கூட்டணி ஆட்சியில் இருந்தாலும், புதுச்சேரியை ஒன்றிய அரசு எதிலேயும் கண்டுகொள்ளல. மாநில அந்தஸ்து கோரிக்கையை மட்டுமா கண்டுக்கல… இங்கு வளர்சி ஏற்படவும் துணை நிற்கவே இல்லை.
காரைக்கால் பகுதிகளில் மூடப்பட்ட 5 மில்கள், பல்வேறு தொழிற்சாலைகளை மீண்டும் திறப்பதற்கு ஒரு துரும்பை கூட கிள்ளிப் போடல. இளைஞர்களின் வேலை வாய்ப்புகளுக்காக எதுவுமே செய்யல. இங்க ஐடி கம்பெனி உருவாக்க வேண்டும் என்கின்ற எண்ணமே இல்லை.
இங்க ஒரு அமைச்சர் ஊழல் குற்றச்சாட்டில் பதவி நீக்கப்பட்டு, அந்தப் பதவிக்கு இன்னொருத்தரை நியமித்து 200 நாள் ஆச்சு இன்னும் அவருக்கு ஒரு இலாகாவே தரல. இந்தச் செயல் சிறுபான்மை மக்களை அவமானப்படுத்துறதுனு அந்த மக்களே சொல்றாங்க.
புதுச்சேரியின் முக்கிய அங்கமாக இருக்கின்ற காரைக்கால், மாகே, ஏனாம் பகுதிகளில் முன்னேற்றமே இல்லை. காவிரியின் கடைமடைப் பகுதியான காரைக்கால் மொத்தமாக கைவிட்ட மாதிரி இருக்குது. இதெல்லாம் முன்னேற்றம் அடையணும்.
டூரிஸ்ட் இடமான புதுச்சேரியில் போதுமான அளவு பார்க்கிங் வசதி, கழிப்பறை வசதி இல்லை. இது எல்லாத்தையும் மேம்படுத்தனும். புதுச்சேரி – கடலூர் ரயில் திட்டம் நீண்ட நாள் கோரிக்கை.
புதுச்சேரி மக்களுக்கு ஒன்று சொல்லிக் கொள்கிறேன். இந்த தி.மு.க-வை நம்பாதீங்க. உங்களை நம்ப வச்சு ஏமாற்றுவதுதான் அவர்களின் வேலையே. தமிழ்நாட்டை ஒதுக்குற மாதிரி புதுச்சேரியையும் ஒதுக்கக் கூடாது.
20 லட்சம் பேர் வாழும் யூனியன் பிரதேசமான புதுச்சேரி, மத்திய நிதி குழுவில் இடம்பெறவில்லை. அதனால் மாநிலங்களுக்கான நிதி பகிர்தல் அடிப்படையிலும், யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களுக்கான நிதி பகிர்தல் அடிப்படையிலும் புதுச்சேரிக்கு நிதி ஒதுக்கப்படுவதில்லை. ஓரளவு தோராயமாகத்தான் புதுச்சேரிக்கு மத்திய அரசு நிதி விடுவிக்கிறது.
அந்த நிதியும் அரசு ஊழியர்களின் சம்பளம், ஓய்வூதியத் தொகை உள்ளிட்ட திட்டச் செலவுகளுக்குச் சென்று விடுவதால், மீத தேவைக்கு கடன் வாங்குகிறது புதுச்சேரி, இந்த நிலை மாற வேண்டுமெஎன்றால் அதற்கு ஒரே வழி மாநில அந்தஸ்து.
புதுச்சேரியின் கடனைக் குறைத்து தற்சார்பு பொருளாதாரத்தை வளர்த்தெடுக்க திட்டங்கள் வகுக்கப்பட வேண்டும். புதுச்சேரியை தென்னிந்தியாவின் முன்னணி தொழிற் மையமாக மாற்ற எல்லா முயற்சிகளும் எடுக்க வேண்டும்.
இந்திய அளவில் ரேஷன் கடைகளே இல்லாத மாநிலம் புதுச்சேரிதான். அனைத்து மாநிலங்களிலும் இருக்கின்ற மாதிரி அரிசி, சர்க்கரை, பருப்பு என அனைத்துப் பொருள்களையும் வழங்குமுறை சீராக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
மீன் பிடிக்கச் செல்லும் காரைக்கால் மீனவர்களை அடிக்கடி கைது செய்யும் இலங்கை கடற்படை, அவர்களின் படகுகளையும் பறிமுதல் செய்து விடுகிறது. நீண்ட போராட்டங்களுக்கு பிறகு அவர்கள் விடுவிக்கப்பட்டாலும் படகுகள் கிடைக்காததால் ரொம்ப மோசமான நிலைக்கு தள்ளப்படுகிறார்கள்.
