The next state assembly election is scheduled to be held in Tamil Nadu next year. Intensive revision work of the voter list is underway throughout the state. The work, which began on November 4th, is planned to continue until December 11th. In a press release issued by the Coimbatore district administration regarding this, it was stated, "The completed survey forms collected from voters are being immediately uploaded to the application. Accordingly, as of Saturday (6.12.2025), 506,394 people have been removed from the voter list in the 10 assembly constituencies in the district.
