அங்கு எங்களுக்கு உறுதுணையாக நிற்க வேண்டிய அரசு துணையாக இல்லை. பல முறை விரைவு மனுக்களைத் தாக்கல் செய்திருந்தோம். அதையும் அரசு மெத்தனப்போக்காகத்தான் அணுகியது. கடைசியாக நவம்பரில் வழக்கு விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது.
அப்போது ஆவணங்களை மொழிப்பெயர்க்க ஆறு மாத அவகாசம் தேவை என்றனர். சாதிய வாக்குகள் பறிபோய் விடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காகத்தான் எங்களின் வழக்கை மெத்தனமாக இழுத்தடிக்க முயல்கிறார்கள்.
உங்களால் 6 மாதத்தில் மொழிப்பெயர்ப்பு செய்ய முடியுமெனில், ஐந்தரை ஆண்டுகளாக என்ன செய்தீர்கள்? அரசு சார்பில் ஒரு விரைவு மனுவைக் கூட தாக்கல் செய்யவில்லையே? அரசு வழக்கறிஞர்களும் யாரும் என்னை அழைத்துப் பேசவில்லையே.

அப்படியிருக்க ஒரு அரசின் இப்படியான மெத்தனப் போக்குகள் என் கால்களைப் பிடித்து இழுப்பதைப் போன்ற அயர்ச்சியைக் கொடுக்கிறது. எனக்கு நீதி கிடைத்தால்தானே, அதைச் சாட்சியாக வைத்து என்னைப் போன்று பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் நீதி கிடைக்குமென நம்பிக்கையூட்ட முடியும்? இப்போது அந்த நம்பிக்கையையே இவர்கள் அறுத்துப் போட முயல்கிறார்கள்.
அப்போதைய கலைஞரும், இப்போதைய முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலினும் உங்களுக்கு ஆதரவாகப் பேசியிருந்ததைக் குறிப்பிட்டீர்கள். இப்போது எங்கே அவர்கள் தவறி நிற்கிறார்கள் என நினைக்கிறார்கள்?

ஆணவப்படுகொலைகளுக்குத் தனிச்சட்டம் இயற்ற முதல்வர் ஒரு கமிஷனை அமைத்திருக்கிறாரே. அதையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் ஒரு நம்பிக்கையாக பார்க்கவில்லையா?
