In the upcoming assembly elections, after long and extensive negotiations, the DMK is contesting in alliance with the AIADMK. 22-ம் தேதி கன்னியாகுமரி, திருநெல்வேலி, தென்காசி, தூத்துக்குடி, விருதுநகர், ராமநாதபுரம், சிவகங்கை, மதுரை, தேனி, திண்டுக்கல், நாகை, திருவாரூர், தஞ்சாவூர், புதுக்கோட்டை, திருச்சி ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களுக்கு நடந்தது. சுமார் ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்டவர்கள் இந்த நேர்காணலில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
அவர்களிடம் நேர்காணல் நடத்திய பிரேமலதா, `தொகுதியில் உங்களின் செல்வாக்கு என்ன?, கட்சியின் செல்வாக்கு, எவ்வளவு செலவழிக்க முடியும்?’ என பொதுவான கேள்விகள் கேட்டிருக்கிறார்.
