அதற்கு பதிலாக அரசின் செலவினங்களுக்கு இடைக்கால பட்ஜெட் தாக்கல் செய்வதற்காக புதுச்சேரி சட்டப்பேரவை இன்று கூடியது. நிதித்துறை பொறுப்பு வகிக்கும் முதல்வர் ரங்கசாமி ஏப்ரல், மே, ஜூன், ஜூலை, ஆகஸ்ட் ஆகிய 5 மாதங்களுக்கு ரூ.5,396/- கோடிக்கான இடைக்கால பட்ஜெட்டை தாக்கல் செய்தார்.
முன்னதாக சபாநாயகர் செல்வம் குறள் வாசித்து சபையை தொடங்கி வைத்தார். தொடர்ந்து இரங்கல் குறிப்பை வாசித்த அவர் பேரவை முன் ஏடுகளை வைக்க முதலமைச்சர் ரங்கசாமியை அழைத்தார்.
