The Tamil Nadu Self-Respect Movement (TDK) led by Pazha Karuppiah has decided to support the National Democratic Alliance led by AIADMK in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. Pazha Karuppiah, who founded this party in 2023, has reportedly sent a message to his supporters regarding this decision. During the AIADMK campaign led by AIADMK leader Edappadi Palaniswami, he said, "We met with the senior members of our party and decided to support the AIADMK alliance in this election. We requested Edappadi Palaniswami to allocate a seat for us. He replied, 'You should not be confined to one seat. Your message should reach all over Tamil Nadu.'"
For that, you should travel all over Tamil Nadu and come. He has said that once the election is over and the government is formed, he will provide you with a suitable position. Therefore, it has been decided to campaign in support of the AIADMK alliance candidates until the first day of the election. அதற்கு அவர், ‘நீங்கள் ஒரு இடத்தில் சிறைப்பட்டு விட வேண்டாம். தமிழகம் முழுவதும் உங்கள் பேச்சு போய்ச் சேர வேண்டும். அதற்கு நீங்கள் தமிழகம் முழுக்கச் சென்று வாருங்கள். தேர்தல் முடிந்து ஆட்சி அமைந்ததும் தகுதியான இடத்தை உங்களுக்கு வழங்குவேன்’ எனச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். எனவே தேர்தலுக்கு முதல் நாள் வரை அதிமுக கூட்டணி வேட்பாளர்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக பிரச்சாரம் செய்வதென முடிவெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அங்கங்கே இருக்கும் நமது நிர்வாகிகள் அதிமுக அணியுடன் கலந்து பேசி ஆதரவு திரட்டுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்’ எனக் குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கிறார்.
