கோவை காளப்பட்டி பகுதியில் பாஜக முன்னாள் மாநில தலைவர் அண்ணாமலை தெருமுனை பிரசாரத்தில் ஈடுபட்டார். அப்போது பேசிய அவர், “திமுக எம்.பி தயாநிதி மாறன், கோயம்புத்தூர் மக்கள் அவர்களை சுற்றியுள்ள அனைவரையும் கெடுத்து விடுவார்கள் என்று கூறுகிறார்.
2021 தேர்தலில் ஆட்சி அமைத்த திமுக கோயம்புத்தூர் தொகுதியில் வெற்றி பெறவில்லை. அந்த கோபத்தில் இப்படி பேசுகிறார்கள். கடந்த 3 ஆண்டுகளில் இந்த பகுதியில் 325 ஸ்பின்னிங் மில்கள் மூடப்பட்டுள்ளன. மின் கட்டண உயர்வு இங்குள்ள குறு சிறு நிறுவனங்களை பெரும் பாதிப்புக்குள்ளாக்கியுள்ளது.
கோவை மெட்ரோ தொடர்பான திட்ட அறிக்கையில் திமுக தவறான தகவல்களை குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது. அதை மாற்றி வருமாறு மத்திய அரசு கூறியது. 20 லட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் தொகை உள்ள நகரங்களில் மெட்ரோ அமைக்க வேண்டும் என்பது 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு மத்திய அரசு கூறியது. கோவை மாநகராட்சியில் மட்டுமே 22 லட்சம் மக்கள் வசிக்கின்றனர்.
இவர்கள் 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டு எடுத்த தரவுகளின் அடிப்படையில் கோவை மாநகராட்சியில் 15 லட்சம் மக்கள் தான் உள்ளனர் என 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டில் சமர்ப்பித்தனர். திமுக சார்பில் இதுவரையில் அந்த ஆவணம் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படவில்லை. எடப்பாடி பழனிச்சாமி முதல்வரானதும் நிச்சயம் கோயம்புத்தூருக்கும் மதுரைக்கும் மெட்ரோ வந்து சேரும்” என்றார்.
பிறகு செய்தியாளர்களைச் சந்தித்த அண்ணாமலை, “தேமுதிக இணைந்திருப்பதால் திமுக கூட்டணியில் உள்ள அனைத்து கட்சிகளுக்கும் ஒரு தொகுதியை குறைக்க போகிறார்கள். விசிகவுக்கு 5 தொகுதிகள் தான் வழங்க போகிறார்கள். அதனால் திருமாவளவன் வருத்தத்தில் உள்ளார்.
அவர் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இல்லை என்பதற்காக எங்கள் கூட்டணியை விமர்சிப்பது சந்தர்ப்பவாதம். அரசியலில் எல்லோர் மீதும் விமர்சனம் வைக்கப்படும். நம் மீது விமர்சனம் வைப்பது தமிழ்நாடு மக்களின் மீது வைக்கும் விமர்சனம் என அரசியல்வாதிகள் சொல்லக்கூடாது” என்றார்.
