அதற்கு இப்போதுதான் அமைச்சர் மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்ந்திருக்கிறார். ஒரு மணி நேரத்தில் ஆவணங்களை தாக்கல் செய்வதாக அமைச்சரின் வழக்கறிஞர் மனோஜ் தெரிவித்தார். ஆனால் மாணிக்ராவ் மற்றும் அவரது சகோதரர் கோர்ட்டால் தண்டிக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பதால் சரணடைய கால அவகாசம் கொடுக்க முடியாது என்று கூறி நீதிபதி மனுவை தள்ளுபடி செய்தார்.
அமைச்சருக்கும், அவரது சகோதரருக்கும் கைது வாரண்ட் பிறப்பித்தார். வழக்கு விசாரணைக்கு வரும்போது அமைச்சர் மாணிக்ராவ் மும்பையில் உள்ள லீலாவதி மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்ந்துள்ளார். கைது வாரண்டை தொடர்ந்து ஜாமீன் கேட்டு மும்பை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்திருப்பதாக மாணிக்ராவ் வழக்கறிஞர் அனிகேத் நிகம் தெரிவித்தார். இம்மனு நாளை விசாரணைக்கு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட இருக்கிறது. அதுவரை கைது நடவடிக்கையில் இருந்து தப்பிக்க மாணிக்ராவ் மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்ந்துள்ளார் என்கிறார்கள்.
இது குறித்து நாசிக் போலீஸ் கமிஷனர் சந்தீப் கூறுகையில், ”அமைச்சர் மாணிக்ராவ் மற்றும் அவரது சகோதருக்கு எதிரான கைது வாரண்ட் எங்களுக்கு கிடைத்து இருக்கிறது. அவர்களை கைது செய்ய நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகிறோம்”என்றார். இருவரும் எங்கு இருக்கின்றனர் என்பதை தொடர்ந்து கண்காணித்து வருவதாக மற்றொரு போலீஸ் அதிகாரி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
அமைச்சர் மாணிக்ராவிற்கு கைது வாரண்ட் பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பதால் அவரை உடனே அமைச்சர் பதவியில் இருந்து நீக்க வேண்டும் என்று எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளன. இதையடுத்து மாணிக்ராவிடமிருந்து இலாகாக்கள் அனைத்தும் பறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால் தொடர்ந்து அமைச்சராக தொடருவார் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாநிலம் முழுவதும் மாநகராட்சி தேர்தல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பதால் மாணிக்ராவை ராஜினாமா செய்யச்சொல்லும்படி துணை முதல்வர் அஜித் பவாருக்கு பா.ஜ.க நெருக்கடி கொடுத்து வருகிறது.
ஏற்கனவே இதே அமைச்சர்தான் சட்டமன்ற கூட்டத்தில் ரம்மி விளையாடியபோது பிடிபட்டார். தொடர்ந்து சர்ச்சையில் சிக்கி வருவதால் மாணிக்ராவை மாற்றவேண்டும் என்று தேசியவாத காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியிலும் கோரிக்கை எழுந்துள்ளது. மாணிக்ராவ் கோடேயால் கட்சிக்கு கெட்ட பெயர் ஏற்பட்டு இருப்பதாக நாசிக் மாவட்ட தேசியவாத காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியினர் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். தேர்தல் நேரத்தில் மாணிக்ராவ் தொடர்ந்து பதவியில் இருப்பது கட்சிக்கு தேர்தலில் இழப்பை ஏற்படுத்தும் என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
இது குறித்து அகில்யா நகர் தேசியவாத காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர் சம்பத் கூறுகையில், ”மாணிக்ராவை பதவியில் இருந்து நீக்க வேண்டும் என்று கட்சி தலைவர் அஜித்பவாரை சந்தித்து கோரிக்கை விடுத்திருக்கிறோம்” என்றார். இதற்கிடையே அமைச்சர் மாணிக்ராவ் பதவியில் இருந்து ராஜினாமா செய்துவிட்டதாகவும் செய்திகள் வெளியாகி இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் அச்செய்தி உறுதிபடுத்தப்படவில்லை.
