But in Uttar Pradesh, which has 403 legislative assembly constituencies, the ruling party did not field even a single Muslim candidate in any constituency. Through that, they proclaim themselves to be a Hindutva party. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Shahnawaz Hussain, who spoke in support of the BJP, are all at home today.
I want to say one thing to those who think they can win people’s support and govern through the single slogan of Hindutva. If former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi were alive today, she would certainly have banned a party like the BJP. Because politics should not be done in the name of religion.
