As stated in the election manifesto, PMK leader Anbumani has urged that the TVK government should enact the Right to Public Services Act.
In a statement issued on Thursday, he said:
The Tamil Nadu government has decided to issue a government order making it mandatory to provide 26 types of certificates, including caste certificates and income certificates, within five days. Although this approach by the government to serve the public is a good one, it will not be effective. All certificates, including caste certificates, should be issued to people immediately. Since they are not available on time, the distressing situation continues in which people have to run from village administrative officers to revenue officials and the taluk office to find out their status.
The only solution to change this situation is to enact the Right to Service Act. Otherwise, issuing such announcements and government orders will not be useful in any way. He has stated that, in order to fulfill the TVK election promise, the Public Service Rights Act should be passed in the upcoming session.

தமிழகத்தில் ஜாதிச் சான்றிதழ், வருமானச் சான்றிதழ் உள்ளிட்ட 26 வகையான சான்றிதழ்களை 5 நாள்களுக்குள் வழங்குவதை கட்டாயமாக்கி அரசாணை பிறப்பிக்க தமிழக அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. மக்களுக்கு சேவை வழங்கும் அரசின் இந்த நோக்கம் நல்லதாக இருந்தாலும், இந்த அணுகுமுறை பயனளிக்காது. ஜாதிச் சான்றிதழ்கள் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து சான்றிதழ்களும் மக்களுக்கு உடனுக்குடன் வழங்கப்பட வேண்டும். அவை குறித்த நேரத்தில் கிடைப்பதில்லை என்பதால், அவற்றின் நிலை குறித்து அறிய கிராம நிா்வாக அலுவலா்கள், வருவாய் அதிகாரிகள், வட்டாட்சியா் அலுவலகம் என மக்கள் அலைய வேண்டிய அவலம் தொடா்கிறது.
இந்த நிலையை மாற்றுவதற்கான ஒரே தீா்வு சேவை பெறும் உரிமை சட்டத்தை நிறைவேற்றுவது தான். அதைவிடுத்து இதுபோன்ற அறிவிப்புகளை வெளியிடுவதும், அரசாணைகளை எந்த வகையிலும் பயனளிக்காது. தவெக தோ்தல் வாக்குறுதியை நிறைவேற்றும் வகையில் பொதுசேவை பெறும் உரிமைச் சட்டத்தை வரும் கூட்டத் தொடரில் நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும் என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளாா்.
